The next FRCOphth Part 1 sitting is 14 October 2026. The College has not announced the 2027 Part 1 dates yet. Part 1 has run in January, April and October.

The next FRCOphth Part 2 Written sitting is 2 December 2026. Applications close on 16 October 2026. Results are due on 8 January 2027. The College has not announced the 2027 Part 2 Written dates yet.

Refraction Certificate exam dates
The next Refraction Certificate sitting is 21–23 November 2026 in Cairo. After that: 7–11 December 2026 in Birmingham; 11–12 January 2027 in Singapore. Applications close on 30 September 2026 for first-time candidates and 2 October 2026 for returning candidates. Results are due on 18 December 2026. The College has not announced further Refraction Certificate sittings yet.
